Assumption #1: They Must Be Spending a Fortune
This is the most common assumption we hear. The reality from our data: 88.6% of med spas already have industry keywords in their title tags. Only 45.1% include their city name. Only 69.4% have a well-written meta description. Only 25.9% have title tags in the optimal 50-60 character range.

Instagram's algorithm rewards consistency. A med spa posting 5 times a week with decent content will outperform one posting twice a week with incredible content.
Assumption #4: They've Been Around Longer
Domain age matters in SEO, but not nearly as much as owners think. Austin med spas average a 4.29 SEO maturity score. Arlington, Texas averages 2.96. In less competitive markets, a new med spa with strong fundamentals can outrank established competitors within 6-12 months.
Assumption #5: They Have Some Marketing Secret
There's no secret. There's just execution. Winning med spas consistently have city-specific title tags, active Google Business Profiles, consistent Instagram posting, treatment-specific landing pages, and tracking on everything.
